Jasmine Brar is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (Qualifying). Jasmine completed her Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and works under the supervision of Dr. Frida Marshi Nasser, C.Psych. Clinical and Rehabilitation Supervising Psychologist.

Bio:

Meet Jasmine, a 27-year-old student therapist who is registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario, and currently a Masters of Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University in her last year of the program. Jasmine is a highly ambitious and dedicated individual who has a passion for helping people achieve their goals and make healthy changes in their lives. 

Jasmine is fluent in both English and Punjabi, which enables her to connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. She believes that cultural competence is an essential aspect of therapy and aims to provide a safe and inclusive space for all of her clients. 

Jasmine has always been interested in human behavior and psychology, and her desire to help others led her to pursue a career in counseling. She has completed various training programs and workshops in areas such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. 

As a student therapist, Jasmine has had the opportunity to work with clients from various backgrounds and age groups. She is skilled in providing empathy, active listening, and supportive feedback to her clients. Jasmine also has a keen interest in helping clients build self-awareness and self-compassion to improve their overall well-being. 

In her free time, Jasmine enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys volunteering for various community organizations and believes in giving back to the community. 

Overall, Jasmine is a talented and compassionate student therapist who is passionate about helping her clients achieve their goals and make positive changes in their lives. With her dedication and expertise, she is well on her way to becoming a successful therapist and making a difference in the lives of many.
