Individual Psychological Treatment and Counselling for Children and Adolescents

Children and adolescents can be challenged in dealing with a wide range of mental health concerns, issues, difficulties, symptoms, or disorders. Parents’ involvement in their children’s and adolescent’s psychological treatment would depend usually on the child’s or adolescent’s needs and concerns. An initial session would be usually held with the parents or the caregivers, without the presence of the child or the adolescent, in order to discuss parental concerns and the issues they and their loved ones are dealing with, and to decide on an initial treatment plan.
