Clinical Rehabilitation Psychological Assessments
Clinical Rehabilitation Psychological Assessment is a Clinical Psychological / Psychodiagnostic Assessment with an additional focus on the psychological, emotional, functional, cognitive, and social impact of a health-related issue such as a chronic pain, a physical injury, or an acquired brain injury on the individual. These assessments are usually requested by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), Motor Vehicle insurance companies (MVA), or other insurance companies. The purpose of the assessment is to identify or clarify mental health diagnoses, determine whether the injured person suffers any psychological impairment as a result of his/her workplace injury, guide treatment planning, and/or to assist in accommodations in occupational or academic settings.
